**About Us**

The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation which offers opportunities for support workers to provide care for clients that include in-home supports, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry. The Co-Group employs a multicultural and diverse workforce including visa holders.

As **Support Worker **you will be required to care for a multiple participants this includes assisting with daily living which could improve domestic and community assistance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drivers Licence
- Access to reliable fully insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Check
- Experience in Support Work
- Experience Manual Handling (Hoists, Transfers, Sera Steady)
- Able to provide Personal Care/Domestic Assistance/Social Support to Female Client.
- Female staff - fluent in English
- Paid Working with Children's Check
- Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Must be available for all shifts

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current National Police check
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia
- Full Covid-19 vaccination
