The Grumpy Baker is an established cafe and bakery operating for over 10 years in various locations.
We are looking for a full-time CAFE MANAGER to lead the team in our Vaucluse bakery
If you are energetic, motivated to lead the team, great with customers and communication, able to work autonomously with a can-do attitude then please join us.
Skills & Experience
- Previous hospitality experience is a must
- at least 2 years barista experience
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a smile :)
- Can-do attitude
- Great communication skills
- Leadership and can show authority
Tasks & responsibilities
- Ordering & keeping on top of stock/wastage
- Training, educating & mentoring staff
- Hygiene & safety
- Rosters
- Making sure communication runs smoothly between front of house and kitchen
- Top notch customer service skills
- Working on the register & making coffee
- Presenting food/ table service
- Keeping areas clean & tidy
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Tips
**Experience**:
- Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 4 years (preferred)
