**ARE YOU THE HYGIENE OPERATIVE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?**

**THE ROLE REPORTS** to the Line Leader/ Supervisor & Production Manager, to work Tuesday (9:00 am - 1:00pm), Wednesday (2:00 pm - 6:00pm), Thursday (2:00 pm - 6:00pm), & Sunday (2:00 pm - 6:00pm).Friday (2:00 pm - 6:00pm).

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of work safety practices; operating cleaning equipment
- Flexible work style and enjoys variety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take and follow instructions
- Dedicated with strong work ethic & ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work under pressure with pace and energy & meet deadlines
- Self-driven & motivated
- Exceptional personal presentation & hygiene

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Wash and clean utensils and dishes and make sure they are stored appropriately
- Manage the tray wash section
- Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling
- Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas in a hygienic manner to HACCP standards.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**:

- Clean and disinfect all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and equipment storage areas including sweeping and mopping
- Removal of all rubbish, cardboard boxes and vegetable scraps to designated rubbish area
- Cleaning of kitchen walls, shelves and work benches on a daily basis
- Maintain the cleanliness of Head Office, including cleaning the kitchen area, replenishing bathroom supplies, and sweeping or vacuuming as required
- Maintain kitchen equipment so it is in good condition
- Follow proper hygienic food handling practices
- Ensure correct operating procedures are followed when using required chemicals
- Have a full knowledge of and practice of all environments of the companies established OH&S guidelines including maintaining a clean and safe working
- Perform any other duties as directed by your Manager
- Comply with HACCP food safety program, as set out by the national QA manager
- Reporting all issues or incidents in a timely manner

**Salary**: From $28.26 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
