**Job Summary**

The primary objective of the Manufacturing Technician is to provide support for tooling, plant and equipment in the factory by completing maintenance activities and documenting manufacturing equipment calibration systems.

**Let’s talk about Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities for Production equipment.
- Document/record all maintenance activities as required for Production equipment.
- Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.
- Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of workplace safety.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance
- methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient.
- Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
- Perform other tasks as required.

**Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience**

**Required**
- 2 years’ experience performing maintenance activities on equipment.
- Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical).

**Preferred**
- Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems
- and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
- Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry.
