The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Cardiac and Wonthaggi Hospitals.
Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services

**About the Role**

You must be able to perform duties within the unit without supervision (following suitable training) which include:

- Ensure the accurate and efficient audio typing of biopsies, cytology and autopsy reports
- Data entry and specimen processing
- Preparation of slides for meetings or send out
- Provide a friendly, courteous and professional greeting and support to all visitors/patients
- Answer and assist incoming callers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner at all times
- Maintain currency of internet knowledge news

**About You**:
The successful applicant will be expected to have a good attention to detail and organisation. You will be responsible for concisely typing pathology reports in a timely manner, answering phones and other clerical duties. Communication and working well within a team is pivotal to this role.
