**Ab**out th**e role**
This position is permanent part-time role and is based at the Narooma Out of School Hours (OOSH) Centre at Narooma Public School.
Your main duties will include:
- Maintain a safe, healthy and caring service daily, providing orientation for families, children and staff while building relationships with schools, principals and the community.
- Develop educational programs based on the National Learning Framework for School-aged Education and Care services.
- Prepare regular reports and Quality Improvement plans as required by Council and the funding bodies.
- Ensuring the adherence to policies and procedures for OOSH centres and assisting the Nominated Supervisor in reviewing and updating these guidelines.
- Promote the service within the local community.
- Stay updated on current issues and changes in Education and Care Services and provide recommendations for staff development training.
**Salary Information**
Total remuneration for the role is in the range of $38.78 to $42.70 gross per hour consisting of:
- $34.78 to $38.30 base salary
- $4.00 to $4.40 superannuation (at 11.5%)
- _A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check._
- _Medical clearance to verify that you are safely able to undertake the duties of the position._
- _A verified clearance as a result of the Working with Children Check._

**About you**
- Team leadership skills and experience.
- Experience documenting and maintaining records.
- Well-developed communication skills (oral and written).
- Hold a Supervisor Certificate or meet minimum requirements to gain certification.
- Knowledge of the Law, Regulations and Standards for Education and Care Services.
