**The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the EL1 may include:

- Administering SCOM and providing solutions for various requirements
- Diagnosis and problem resolution in relation to system outages
- Drive change and initiate improvements across the SCOM and Dynatrace monitoring solutions
- Developing and reviewing technical documentation, including System Designs, As Built, Standard Operating Procedures, and other documentation relating to the governance of the departments monitoring systems
- Reporting to management and providing sound advice
- Maintaining integration between SCOM and other monitoring and alerting solutions
- Manage competing priorities within tight timeframes
- Steer or manage a range of IT projects
- Lead and develop staff***

**Qualifications and Education**
- Qualifications and experience associated with SCOM is essential
- Prior experience managing and leading a monitoring team in an enterprise environment is highly desirable
