Printer - Direct to Film

Powerstitch Designs is an established and reputable clothing and promotion business located in Brendale. Originally, a traditional manual print shop, we now offer digital alternatives. We decorate clothing and accessories as well as offering a range of promotional materials, both to the public and business to business.

We are currently looking for a printer who enjoys a hands-on and active role to join our team In this role you will work as part of our small team, to produce printed clothing, apparel, and promotional materials to meet our customers requirements.

The role will primarily involve producing prints using the Direct To Film printers.

What you'll be doing:

- Operating and maintaining printing equipment
- Preparing proofs for client approval and ensuring they meet customer specifications
- Preparing and setting up artwork files for high-quality print production
- Monitoring print quality and making necessary adjustments to ensure consistent, accurate and high quality results
- Troubleshooting any issues with files or print output
- Monitor consumable stock levels
- Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow
- Adhering to all safety protocols and maintain equipment as per schedule
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience in producing digital prints in a commercial environment
- Strong skills in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator to create print-ready artwork
- Excellent attention to detail including adherence to technical specifications and job requirements
- Organisational skills to manage both prints & artwork
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
