Liverpool City Council is experiencing major growth and development within the LGA. We are currently seeking to recruit multiple positions within Maintenance Delivery - City Works. You will be part of a proactive team, providing a high level of service for the community of Liverpool in the construction and maintenance of major infrastructure.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The positions will involve working in teams from two to six members carrying out the day-to-day operations as directed by the Coordinator of Maintenance Delivery. Work will include asphalt and or drainage associated works along with general civil maintenance of street furniture, footpaths, roads and reserves. Demonstrated experience in the operation of excavator, loader and skid steer would be an advantage.

You will be required to have experience in both the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths, and drainage infrastructure, with the ability to assess safety situations and take appropriate action. A MR or HR license is essential with experience in operating and maintaining plant/equipment associated with civil construction. A Yellow or Blue Traffic Controller's ticket will also be desirable.

**ABOUT YOU.**

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

- Experience in the following civil construction
- Road Maintenance / Drainage Maintenance
- MR or HR Truck Drivers License
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Demonstrated truck driving experience.
