**About the Business**
**Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those involved with the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities, people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and people with complex and exceptional needs. The division also leads the department's Closing the Gap efforts.
***Role Details**
**The Project Officer is a role within Community Youth Justice and is accountable to the Manager, Practice and Service Delivery, for:

- Contributing to the development, implementation and delivery of strategic and operational services and policies with knowledge and/or experience of child development and trauma to promote positive outcomes for children and young people involved with the justice system.
- Promoting and supporting Community Youth Justice in achieving its goals and strategic objectives, whilst achieving effective communication and project definition through maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).

***Salary Range**: $85,790-$95,413 (ASO5)
