**About the Role**
Working with the Traralgon Technical Services team, you will be responsible for executing technical services and maintenance contracts with key clients.
The Traralgon team services customers in the Offshore Oil and Gas, Paper, Power and Water industries amongst others. The role includes remote site work on offshore oil and gas installations to be regularly undertaken. Access to these facilities is via helicopter so a good head for heights and ease with flying is going to be required for this. BOSIET or HUET training is undertaken for this role, along with gaining a Maritime Security clearance.
The Traralgon team members occasionally assist other areas of the wider CSE Crosscom business (Victorian and National team) on project deployments. This can involve travel to other areas nationally or even internationally.
**About You**
Driven and motivated to excel, you are a great teammate and communicator with proven success in a dynamic technical role. You will have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team or individually complete tasks in the field. You have a Certificate III or higher in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent trade certificate(s) with strong technical knowledge of:
- Analogue, P25 and DMR radio technologies
- Radio spectrum - ACMA regulatory landscape
- Network based radio link systems
- PC based analytical tools and report generation
You will possess strong analytical skills with an ability to fault find and problem solve in time critical situations.
As a field services team member, you will take responsibility and ownership for the task allocated and follow it through to resolution. Occasional participation in a contract customer on-call team roster will be part of the role.
**Other highly desirable skills and experience include**:
- Wireless and IP networking, PAGA, telephony, link and microwave experience
- Telecommunications cabling is a big part of the role including Data, Coaxial and Fibre Optic requiring a current ACMA Cabling Registration with appropriate endorsements
- Work at heights for Telecommunications Rigging and Elevated Work platform is regularly undertaken therefore Worksafe licenses for these are highly desirable. Scaffolding licenses can also be useful in some situations.
- Maritime radar and display, compass, TV antenna distribution networks, weather station, access control, CCTV, UPS and complex antenna systems experience
- Previous experience participating in technical service delivery teams for planning, installing and commissioning communications solutions including apprentice training and supervision
- Proven track record of time management, prioritising planned and unplanned workload
- Ability to develop, integrate and implement technical solutions working with engineering management and end-user groups

**Salary**: $85,000.00 per year
