Handyman/woman/maintenance

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for experienced, reliable handyman to join our team.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Ø Troubleshooting and fixing any issues and creating troubleshooting guidelines

Ø Handling emergency repairs

Ø Developing documentation policies and standard operating procedures for all maintenance work

Ø Inspect buildings, systems, and appliances regularly to prevent potential issues. Perform routine and preventative maintenance

Ø Coordinate subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work if a specialist is needed (upper-level approval required)

Ø Garden maintenance

Ø Order necessary supplies (upper-level approval required)

Ø Maintain a record of maintenance and repair tasks

Ø Make suggestions for operation improvements and help with its implementations. Looking for new ways to improve productivity and cut costs

**Skill and Requirements**:

- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.

**You will be required to attend a 30 mins interview to demonstrate your hands-on skills**

**Job Types**: Permanent, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week

- Day shift
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
