Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the **NDT Technician** will be responsible for the analysis of all machine components for surface and subsurface cracks as per Industry Standard and WesTrac procedure. Another key part of this role will be to compile reports of findings for customer departments and maintain NDT job files. The individual will require the ability to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external customers requiring NDT work throughout Western Australia. There will be a requirement to travel to site once per quarter to conduct chassis inspections.

**Location**: South Guildford

**Roster**: Monday to Friday, rotational roster 2 Weeks Day Shift, 2 Weeks Night Shift - 10 Hour Shifts, 1 Saturday per 4 week rotation (overtime rates apply)

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Eddy Current Testing (Level 2 Certified) is essential
- Magnetic Particle testing (Level 2 Certified) is essential
- Ultrasonic testing (Level 2 Certified) is essential
- Dye Penetrant (Level 2 Certified) is essential
- Valid Dogging, Forklift, Working at Heights and Valid Elevated Platform (EWP) tickets is advantageous but not essential
- Understanding of the Workplace and Safety Act
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, housekeeping and clean working habits
- Deliver high quality customer service to ensure ultimate “end-user” satisfaction
- Strong committed and focus on safety, with previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
