Favourable _to a Montessori Directress and open to Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Professional. _
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a 2IC or in a joint Lead Educator/2IC role is necessary._
- **As an Educator you will**:_
- _Be passionate about education in the early years._
- _Be prepared to take on the challenge of learning a new methodology._
- _Be prepared to invest your own time into personal study with a desire to take your career to a higher level._
- _Have a desire for achievement and satisfaction in teaching children during their most precious years._
- _Be prepared to work shifts according to rostered hours from 7.30 to 6:30 pm._
- _You will need your own transport and must be within easy commuting distance to the Langwarrin._
- Full time / part time position is available for someone that has a desire to further their skills and knowledge in the industry. Good management skills and experience in a Montessori environment required.
- **As a 2IC you will**:_
- _Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role_
- _Be very competent in using managerial software such as Xplor, Qkids or other similar products_
- _Have a solid understanding of the industry’s Rules and Regulations_
- _Be able to manage Policies and Procedures_

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Manage daily operations and supervise educational programs ensuring alignment with our service standards.
- Take charge in the absence of the Approved Provider and Nominated Supervisor, acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day management.
- Ensure compliance with child health and safety regulations, including supervision, food safety, and administration of medication.
- Develop and uphold quality educational practices that contribute to each child’s learning and wellbeing.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with staff, families, and the community, enhancing the inclusive atmosphere of our service.

Your will be working in a supportive environment with experienced teachers.

Our centre operates as a Montessori Kindergarten Long Day Child Care and is located in Langwarrin.

We are looking for an innovative and highly motivated person to join our team. If you have experience in another discipline such as music, dance or creative arts this would be very favorable.

Above award wages are paid and remuneration will be based on your qualifications and abilities.
