We are looking for Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day to day maintenance operations of a new project located close to Middlemount in central Queensland. This is a small project and will require someone who can not only manage the activities, but also be hands on and provide support to the Fitters as required.
- Lead by example in this hands-on role, coordinating the safe and cost-effective maintenance of equipment, including documentation and reporting.
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are executed within safety, time and cost requirements
- Accurately record the daily activities and maintenance tasks
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and effective, high performing teams
- Focused on continuous improvement, with ability to lead teams to develop and implement solutions
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture and record within the team.

What you'll need to succeed
- Trade certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent as well as previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams
- Current Mining Supervisor - G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
- Current Carry out the Risk Management Process - G2 (RIIRIS402D)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Queensland driver licence.
