**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Change and Communications Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of change management and communications activities for priority initiatives at Lifeline Australia. This role ensures that change and communications activities meet business objectives (including the delivery of activities on time and on budget), increase stakeholder adoption and are delivered within the context of Lifeline Australia’s strategic priorities and member network.
Reporting to the Head of Change, the Analyst will be responsible for implementing change management strategies and plans, stakeholder engagement, communications and change readiness activities, as directed.
The Analyst will need to be adept at delivering change management and communications across business and technology units, demonstrating the capability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups. The role will also work with the Communications and Engagement Specialist to support the implementation of the Corporate Communications Strategy, with a focus on improving internal staff communications and enhancing Member engagement.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments and change readiness assessments.
- Report on change activities on a regular basis to enable appropriate decision making by the Head of Change and relevant Project Manager.
- Support the Learning Design & Development (LD&D) team to design, develop and roll-out training and support materials.
- Contribute to the assessment of change effectiveness through pulse surveys etc.
- Any other tasks and/or duties as reasonably directed by the Head of Change and/or Communications & Engagement Specialist.
- As directed, engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels to create awareness, disseminate key messages and generate support for change outcomes.
- Design, develop and deliver communications to support priority initiatives.
- Support corporate communications activities, including content curation, creation and tracking.
- Evaluate, update and create information for Lifeline’s intranet / SharePoint to keep internal stakeholders informed.
- Contribute to team development, supporting a culture of trust, knowledge sharing and accountability.
- Actively support a strong risk and compliance culture, demonstrating adherence to organisational policies and values.
- Contribute to organisation-wide activities and events.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven experience in change management with a minimum three years’ working in a change role, utilising industry recognised change management methodologies.
- Demonstrated stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for various stakeholder groups.
- Experience with systems implementation, technology, and business project change management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and address risks and issues, including change resistance, to the successful implementation of business change.
- Experience with digital, cloud, compliance and/or workforce transformation projects.
- Excellent time management skills, with the confidence to manage priorities and communicate early regarding potential problems.
- Desirable: Experience working in both non-profit and commercial settings.
- Desirable: Tertiary qualifications and / or certification in Change Management e.g. Prosci.
