**The organization**
Our client is a leading ASX listed organization from the Wholesale/Distribution industry that operates across the country. They are a growing, dynamic, and ambitious business with excellent internal culture. They promote flexibility (WFH) as well as professional growth. Located in the Southeast (Melbourne), they currently seek to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (permanent, full time).

**The role**
Reporting to a Head of Commercial Finance, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for delivering reporting, analysis, and insights to drive performance with Commercial Leaders. In addition, you will be responsible for the evaluation and program management of M&A activities

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the interpretation of monthly results, provide insights on KPIs, and influence business decisions
- Conduct commercial/financial evaluation of Commercial team’s business and investment proposals
- Initiate & develop scenarios for driving successful commercial outcomes
- Develop annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports for the Commercial Team, Executive and Board
- Provide monthly analysis of variances between budget and actual results
- Develop financial models in relation to pricing, COGS and other income to drive improved trading margin across portfolios
- Support the continuous improvement of the finance BI systems

**Skills & experience required**
- Qualified CA/CPA/CFA
- Extensive commercial experience and demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with large ERP and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau etc)
- Strong excel skills and ability to manipulate large volumes of data
- Be proactive and have an ownership mentality
