**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Head of Employee Remuneration, this 12+ month secondment opportunity is responsible for the provision of advice on best practice remuneration policy and processes. The person in this role will be required to provide research and specialist advice in relation to a broad range of companywide remuneration strategies and policies. We require a Part time hours, and we are happy to work with you on which working days/ hrs per week you prefer
Key accountabilities will also include:
- Reviewing and developing remuneration related responses, processes and policies to meet business needs based on Origin’s remuneration philosophy, market trends and impending legislative changes.
- Undertaking annual and adhoc remuneration benchmarking activity
- Playing a pivotal role in the annual remuneration review process for circa 5000 employees, including data preparation, establishment of parameters, communications, training and advice
- Report generation, data review and analysis of remuneration related information from Success Factors (HRIS) to be used in providing specialist advice/ supporting project activity/managing issues.
- Creating and improving tools and automation initiatives.
- Presenting on remuneration topics as and when required
**IS THIS YOU?**
You can show, through the work you have done:
- Significant previous experience in a specialist remuneration and benefits capacity.
- A deep technical knowledge of remuneration philosophy and processes
- Expertise in benchmarking roles to market.
- Analytical experience monitoring remuneration related trends in the market and interpreting salary survey data.
- Stakeholder management at all levels of an organisation with the ability to influence and build strong relationships internally and with external networks
- Ability to work on multiple prioritise at varying levels of complexity
- Strong communication skills - ability to present and articulate messages to all levels and break down technical topics
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Highly organised, proactive and accountable for delivering on expectations.
- Strong excel skills with the ability to extrapolate and interpret data.
