**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and fun UI Designer to join our Experience Design (XD) Practice within Endeavour X, the digital transformation arm of Endeavour Group - Australia’s leading retail drinks and hospitality business united around the common purpose of creating a more sociable future together.
**What You'll need to succeed**
- At least 3+ years’ professional experience working as a UI designer
- Qualification in design related discipline or commensurate industry experience.
- Applied knowledge of Interaction Design Principles (Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design)
- Experience working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environments desirable
- Working knowledge of Agile ways of working and mindset
- Proficient knowledge of Design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC
- Proficient knowledge of documentation and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, MIRO, Confluence and JIRA is desirable, but you can also learn them with us.
- Experience with motion design is desirable, but not required
- Experience in ecommerce is desirable, but not required

- Translate research learnings into practical and feasible UI deliverables; through the lens of user needs, business impact and engineering feasibility.
- Ensure proposed solution design will benefit customers and our business, balancing innovation and pragmatism.
- Communicate results and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, in compelling and creative ways.
**Strategy & Business acumen**
- Strategic mindset and Systems Thinking - ability to understand and connect to the wider Endeavour Group ecosystem.
- Effective stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, tailoring each communication and design artifact to meet audience needs, including Executive Leaders.
- Advocate, collaborate on and contribute to MIXER, our design system
- Champion the brand look and feel, ensuring a consistent brand experience and that all design lives up to the highest quality of each brand’s visual standards
- Provide design direction by tackling problems that range from concise and well-defined, to the expansive and ambiguous.
- Use insights to drive and guide the development of an idea, new offerings, and build original hypotheses that offer to exceed customer expectations.
- Design experiences that drive tactical and strategic product decisions.
- Continually finding new ways to solve problems by combining and recombining knowledge, approaches and skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills applied in reports, copy, and presentations is desired.
**Coaching and mentoring**
- Open to learning from others, being coached and mentored
- Mentorship of Junior Designers
- Support squad and Business Partners to introduce design thinking and agile mindset in our ways of working
- Champion high quality design practice and mindsets that showcase the benefits of user-centric practices, to evolve design maturity.
- Collaborative and inclusive in your approach to bring people together and create visibility of the process and the why.
