The Local Doctor is a well-established GP and Skin Clinic located in the heart of Ivanhoe. We’re known for delivering exceptional care in both general practice and skin health - from skin cancer treatments to aesthetic therapies including pigmentation, vascular concerns, and rejuvenation.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As our new Dermal Clinician, your role will include:

- Assisting in light-based therapies including **Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)** for skin cancer and other medical concerns.
- Provide bespoke treatments with the use of **LED**, **chemical peels** and **customised facials**.
- Consulting with clients to assess their skin health, identify concerns, and create tailored treatment plans.
- Providing product recommendations and education to help clients care for their skin long-term.

**What You’ll Need**
- A **Bachelor of Dermal Science** (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- A genuine commitment to continuous learning and clinical excellence.
- Ability to multitask, stay organised, and thrive in a busy yet supportive environment.
- Self-motivation and reliability - you’re proactive and take pride in your work.

**Desirable Extras (Not Essential)**
- Experience in consultations and skin analysis with the Observ 520x.
- Experience with creating or contributing to social media content related to skin health or aesthetic treatments.
- Experience with Prin, Aspect, Skin Better Science, Dermaceutic, & Bioderma.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
