Upholsterer

Slumbercorp is WA's leading Bedding manufacturing company specializing in high quality mattresses and Headboards. Located at Welshpool we currently have an opportunity for an experienced upholsterer to join our team.

The upholstery team manufacture foundations, headboards, the role is within a manufacturing team and you will need to hit the ground running, so it is expected that you will have experience within the soft furnishing industry. Specific training will be provided.

**YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Sewing and cutting fabric
- Preparing of frames (Foaming/Webbing)
- Assembly and upholstery of high quality commercial and domestic furniture
- Taking part in periodic quality checks on items being processed
- Repetitive lifting
- Liaising with Research & Development and Planning teams

The successful applicant must have:

- Experience within the upholstery field
- A keen eye for details and an uncompromising quality focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Technical aptitude and sewing skills will be well regarded
- Ability to work autonomously or in a small team FOR IMMEDIATE START
