Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 Data Analyst on a contract for 12 months.

**Position Overview**

A Data Analysts with experience and knowledge of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and associated projects will be required to undertake work on PBS projects

The Data Analysts will be part of a dynamic PBS Projects team where knowledge can be shared between the team members, resulting in upskilling, identification of opportunities and areas of improvement.

The Data Analysts will play a key role in the Pharmaceutical Benefits Branch by assisting to bring current PBS Projects to completion and continue to deliver significant projects and continuous improvements.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Key duties will include but are not limited to:

- control and assist with the data management process, including loading, creating, maintaining, analysing and distributing data
- assist in the processing of data, including matching and maintaining specific object data
- develop data standards and provide input to strategy for the solution
- manage globally controlled master data elements
- monitor data quality by undertaking periodic audits
- detect data inconsistencies and utilise defined error-handling procedures
- resolve data integration issues related to data in their area of expertise
- establish and maintain data business rules and security specifications
- establish data retention criteria
- evaluate, define, integrate and organise data coming from multiple operational systems
- provide broad data support for project build, test and implementation activities
- provide documented data modelling solutions as required, encompassing conceptual, logical and physical models, and database implementation artefacts
- ensure all data model designs are reviewed for consistency with existing standards

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Applicants must have Baseline Clearance, or the ability to obtain.
