As our highly valued **Educator** with our Herston Road team, you’ll nurture children’s curiosity, creativity and capability so they become confident lifelong learners.

**C&K Herston Road Long Day Care**, we are very lucky to have a natural outdoor area that provides children with an outlet to explore, engage and supports motor development. The children have a large natural space to be adventurous. Because we are so close to the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) we endeavour to build that community partnership and take excursions to their library, football fields and their newly developed picnic areas around the campus.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. And you’ll be supported by a team of kind, humble people and leaders who share their knowledge to help you learn, grow and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your colleagues to creative a nurturing environment while developing meaningful relationships with the children and their families.

**What you’ll bring**

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

- A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
