**The Position**:
This is a Driver position and is located at one of Adelaide’s leading cemeteries on a casual basis presenting approximately 10- 20 hours per week. The main duties of the Driver are as follows:

- Transferring closed coffins, ashes, urns and personal effects from funeral homes to the cemetery.
- Driving a van equipped with automatic lifts for moving and positioning of the coffin
- Conducting pre-start checks on the van
- Ensuring the van is neat and tidy at all times, and thoroughly washed and vacuumed
- General light duties

**The Applicant**:
The successful applicant will:

- Be steadfast in nature, and undeterred by handling coffins containing the deceased's, ashes, and urns
- Present compassion and understanding to assist family members of the deceased at a time when it is needed most
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Possess a solid geographical knowledge of Adelaide's Metropolitan area
- Mechanical knowledge along with the essential requirements will be looked upon favourably.

**The Requirements**:

- SA Drivers License (essential)
- Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (essential)
- Evidence of the Covid -19 Vaccination (Essential)
- Able to pass medical (essential)
- Gardening and general labouring skills (essential)
