**Role Details**:
**Estimated start date**:18 November 2024

**Routes**: Transport containers (metal reels) from wharfs and terminals to our Brooklyn Logistics Site, returning empties to container parks, deliveries from the Brooklyn Logistics Site to our Clayton and Coburg sites. Additional duties may include tasks from other sites as rostered.

**Locations**: Start and finish at our Brooklyn Logistics site.

**Hours**: Permanent Full time - Day shift, Monday to Friday

**What you'll do**:

- Secure Freight: Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure safe transportation.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to confirm roadworthiness and compliance.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
- Accurate Reporting: Complete electronic reporting systems and required documentation accurately.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow all company policies and state/national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ recent Australian experience driving Multi Combination Trucks A-Double experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) accreditation desirable.
- Must hold a valid & current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history & VicRoads report.
- In-depth knowledge of the Melbourne Metro area and container parks, Mass Management TMA requirements, and wharf cartage experience.
- Experience using retractable & container trailers.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
