**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our incredible support team as a casual Laundry Assistant / Housekeeper at Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett. There are no set days, however you may be called upon to cover a variety of 8am - 1pm shifts across a 7 day week.

Our laundry staff play a crucial role in delivering service that is good enough for mum and dad. If you're up for a new challenge in a supportive environment - we'd love to hear from you

In this role you will:

- Conduct routine cleans in our care centre, serviced apartments and common areas
- Be responsible for the general tidyness / cleanliness of the village
- Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, sorting and delivery of linen and residents personal clothing
- Operate the machinery to aide the cleaning and sterilisation process
- Observe all health and safety precautions for the protection of residents, staff and visitors
