Laundry Assistant
- Ashwood

As a laundry assistant you will be responsible for providing laundry services which meet the needs of residents within the residential aged care setting.
You will be reporting to the Manager of Residential Services and working with the care, health and hospitality team
- Casual position at Ashwood Residential Care
- Convenient location near Pendle Hill train station with shopping options close by

Your Contribution
- Undertake laundering duties as outlined in the duty list;
- Effective time management;
- Respond to residents or their representative’s complaints or concerns;
- Ensuring compliance with Australian and New Zealand Laundering Standards;
- Assist with the maintenance of equipment and stock related to the Laundering Service;
- Assist with the undertaking of regular linen stock takes as required;
- Assist with monitoring chemical use and liaise with chemical suppliers;
- Proactively modelling the Fresh Hope Communities’ Values of kindness, connection, optimism and integrity in all interactions with the team, stakeholders, and external parties

The Essentials
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and implementing a laundering program;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Be a team player, positive and a can-do attitude;
- A current Criminal History Check (within the last three years) suitable for aged care (or willing to obtain) are essential.
