Maintenance Fitter

I am pleased to be working with my client based in Kilmore, VIC and are leading the search for a **Full-time Mechanical Maintenance Fitter.**

**Your Role**

Ideally, trade qualified and with previous maintenance experience you will assist in developing preventative maintenance strategies. Consideration would be given to a non-qualified highly experienced Trade Assistant.
- Contribute towards the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance routines.
- Ability in identifying the Root Cause of equipment failures.
- Timely and effective resolution of plant failures
- Partake in capital and improvement projects.
- Able to identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow WHS directives.

**Benefits**:

- $45-47.00 per hour + superannuation + overtime
- Base hours Monday-Friday 6am-4pm (after 7.6 hours at penalty rates)

**To Succeed**
- Significant experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably manufacturing.
- A great attitude and genuine desire to produce high quality results.
- High level knowledge & commitment to WHS and risk management
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Formal Trade qualifications preferred.
- MMAW & MIG welding skills (TIG optional)
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics training and experience
- Forklift ticket advantageous.
- Reliable transport

You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
