A regional leadership H&S opportunity, to support 6 underground mining projects nationally. Reporting to the HSET Manager, this role will offer you the chance to succeed the current HSET Manager in 3/4 years.

**Title**: Regional Health & Safety Superintendent
**Location**:Regional Central NSW
**Salary**: $170,000 - $200,000 + Super + Benefits + Relocation
**Reports to**: HSET Manager
**Scope**: Travel to 6 sites as required
**Development**: Transition to corporate safety role

**Core responsibilities**:

- Oversight of Health & Safety activities across 6 underground sites.
- Provide fresh ideas to improve H&S performance
- Provide quality documentation and training tools to company standards
- Site ER preparedness
- Risk assessments
- Incident investigation and reporting
- Ensure industry best practice is adhered to across operations
- H&S Strategical thinking and leadership
- Conduct pre-start, toolbox talks, and inductions for workforce and contractors
- Facilitating site safety audits
- Ensure the quality of training is maintained

**Key requirements**:

- Qualifications - related field in H&S
- Proven underground mine leadership experience
- Strong coaching ability
- Knowledge of ER processes
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Hands on type operator
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
