As the needs and demands of the community services sector grows, ProCare Australia is seeking to recruit qualified, flexible, hardworking and experienced Residential Youth Workers who can help provide support to leading services in the Government and Non-Government sector.

**About the role**:
If you possess the passion to provide strength-based, client-centred support to Children and Young People residing in Out of Home Care - then we would love to hear from you

We are currently experiencing a high volume of requests within Brisbane and surrounding suburbs including Sunshine Coast.

**To be Successful, you will have**:

- Certificate IV level qualification in a Youth / Community Service related field.
- A current Blue Card (Paid).
- A current National Police Check (12 Months).
- A current First Aid (3 years) & CPR Certificate (12 months).
- A vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance and open drivers licence.
- Experience working with complex and challenging behaviours.
- An understanding of trauma and attachment theories.
- Regular availability for day and evening, sleep overs & weekend shifts.
- A high level of reporting skills for case notes.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Desirable**:

- Hope and Healing Certificate.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trained.
- Youth Mental Health First Aid.
- Experience working with Indigenous and CALD clients.
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training.

**Salary & Benefits**
- Attractive hourly rate of $39.26 - $49.08 + Super + Penalties.
- Night, weekend and public holiday penalty rates on top of the base rate.
- Flexible working hours.
