Job Summary

At Actwell Lighting, Our firm belief in ‘Acting Well’ lies at the heart of who we are, conducting ourselves honestly and responsibly to both our clients and most importantly our staff. A position has arise for a Warehouse Assistant. No prior experience is necessary, however we do need someone who is reliable and can commit to the role. This role can be Full time or Part Time. Preference for full time however if we consider you for part time, we would require you to be in the office 4 days a week for a minimum of 5 hours per day.

Role Description

Job Responsibilities Picking and packing of goods to satisfy incoming orders and dispatch of goods, Booking of couriers for pickup of orders, Answering telephones in conjunction with the team low call volume, Warehouse duties such as assembly of light fittings, stocktake where required. General admin work such as updating the inventory system when dispatches occur. Other duties where required to assist when busy. Unloading goods where required. Keeping the warehouse organised and tidy. Newly arrived items on shelving.

**Required Skills**:
Ideal skills and competencies include: Good communication skills both verbal and written. Attention to detail. Friendly telephone manner. Planning and organisational skills. Ability to work independently yet also in a team based environment. Basic IT skills in using MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.

Preferred Skills

Customer service experience on telephones. Proficiency in English - written and verbal. Dressed presentably. Full Drivers License
