HEQS is an importer and distributor of furniture and homewares, located in Rocklea, QLD, with a vision to provide Australian with versatile options for quality products with an affordable price tag. As the industry leading company HEQS expands, we must also increase the size of our fleet. We are excited to offer the opportunity for experienced truck drivers to join our growing team. This position might include interstate deliveries, warehouse all-rounding and being an onsite assembler.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight within Queensland and between states.
- Delivery to our customer base in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Unload and set up furniture and appliances, this will including heavy lifting
- Follow routed and time schedules & excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
- Forklift operation (preferred)
- Furniture assembly and installation
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicles whilst maintaining the interior and exterior.
- Must follow company operation procedure and instructions
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Complete daily run sheet

**Eligibility & Skills**:

- Valid Australian Driver’s License (required)
- Good driving record (required)
- Have sound knowledge of the Brisbane Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
- Heavy Rigid Truck Driving License (preferred)
- Forklift license (preferred)
- Have strong knowledge of furniture installation
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize jobs and work in a team and independently
- Be well presented, organised, with a great work ethic and a warm and friendly personality

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rocklea QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driver: 1 year (required)
- Interstate Driving : 2 years (preferred)
- Truck Driving : 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
