**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Position**

Council is offering a great opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to supervise, coordinate and motivate Council’s trades services team to ensure efficient completion of building maintenance programs throughout the Shire. The position will contribute to the development and implementation of asset management strategies relevant to built assets.

This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and effectiveness of Council’s trade services projects, and will play a key role on modelling and promoting Council’s and the Facilities Management Section values.

- Carpentry trade qualification together with relevant industry tickets and licences.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a wide range of building maintenance and construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in and ability to manage and lead teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high level customer service.
- Proven experience in budget administration, contract management and project management.

- A salary range of $81,800 to $93,900 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills and experience.
