Holsworthy Trainee

My Gateway is partnering with Liverpool Council to bring TWO traineeship positions for people who are looking to start their careers in childcare. Each position is located at different centres across the Liverpool Council area.

The successful applicants will be working with children aged between 0-5 years old. As part of the 18 month traineeship, you will complete a **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care**.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Interact energetically with children under five years old.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Help children with hygiene duties including nappy changes, washing hands, etc.
- Prepare food and general cleaning duties.
- Arrange play based learning activities.
- Prepare lesson plans.
- Update parents about their children's progress.
- You may also be involved in enrolment paperwork from time to time
