We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and super-organized **KITCHEN HAND**who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into the action, you will be working with a team of 7 people in our newly built commercial kitchen. The role will be assisting our head chef create new recipes and attend to existing dishes; warm bowls, soups and fancy salads. All meals are made in house and served fresh in a production format. These items are freshly made daily in our central kitchen and delivered to our 8 (two of which open in September) stores via refrigerated transport.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure standard of cleanliness meets the standards set by the head chef
- Manage workstation and deliver a high standard of hygiene
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of food safety and allergen awareness
- Respond to requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of hygiene
- Show initiative to take on other duties with shifting priorities and flexibility
- Provide above and beyond service and display attitude of care towards your clients and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills
- Great energy, flexible approach, and immaculate presentation
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Be self-motivated and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in a similar role

**Key Requirements**:

- Extensive experience in hospitality operations minimum 3 years, with a focus soups, warm bowls and fancy salads. The meals are made daily and prep is done in the afternoon.
- **MUST have an Australian Drivers license**, as a small component of the job may be quickly jumping in our refrigerated van and delivering to a store close by.
- Expertise in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.
- Solid understanding of quality control processes and customer service excellence.
- Creative mindset with a passion for product development and innovation.
- Goal-driven with strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong skills in working with and leading individuals from diverse backgrounds and personalities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
