**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable CrossFit Coach to join our team and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals. As a CrossFit Coach, you will be responsible for leading group classes, providing personalised coaching, and creating a supportive, inclusive, and motivating environment. Your role will involve teaching proper techniques, ensuring safety, and fostering a sense of community within the gym.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Class Instruction**:
- Plan and lead CrossFit classes, including warm-ups, skill work, WODs (Workout of the Day), and cooldowns.
- Demonstrate and explain movements with proper technique and scaling options for athletes of all levels.
- **Personalised Coaching**:
- Provide individualised attention and feedback during classes to ensure members’ safety and progress.
- Develop and monitor personalised fitness plans for members as needed.
- **Member Engagement**:
- Build strong relationships with members and create a welcoming, inclusive gym environment.
- Encourage and motivate members to achieve their goals while celebrating their progress.
- **Safety & Equipment**:
- Maintain a safe training environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of gym equipment.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Assist with gym operations, such as tracking attendance, managing member inquiries, and supporting events or challenges.
- Stay updated on gym policies and communicate them effectively to members.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay current with CrossFit methodologies, certifications, and industry best practices.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to gym programming and strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) Certification (Level 2 or higher preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Proven experience coaching or participating in CrossFit or functional fitness programs.
- Strong understanding of CrossFit methodologies, movement patterns, and scaling options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fitness, coaching, and community building.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
