**About the role**: In this role you will: - Taking into account the entire framework of statutory valuations, you will have a significant individual valuation commitment involving valuations for statutory purposes as well as performing high-level analytical and critical evaluation of complex valuation issues and problems for the area of responsibility. You will be required to provide mentoring and coaching to encourage innovation, maximum efficiency, and improved business relationships to support consistency and capability uplift of teams across the State. Resolve statutory grievances relating to valuation activities; prepare Land Court briefs and appear as an expert witness in the Land Court. Use, and promote the use of, advanced information and communication technology in effectively managing work. Represent the business unit as required at external forums and liaise on behalf of the State Valuation Service on significant, complex technical issues with industry, other government agencies and academics. Recognise, provide professional advice on and address emerging issues and trends. Plan, lead, and project manage major complex valuation and projects.
**This position requires**: - Registration as a Valuer (with the Queensland Valuers Registration Board). The possession of a current C class driver's licence is mandatory.
