Brisbane, Australia Legal Aid Full time

Verify content and forward establishment forms for payroll processing, prepare appointment letters, maintain employment information on electronic personnel files, and make changes to the establishment in Employee Self Service.
- Respond to enquiries and liaise with managers, employees and the payroll provider in relation to payroll, timesheet, employment conditions/entitlements and establishment issues. This includes rectifying errors identified through PCC reporting.
- Provide support and coverage to the Consultant (payroll, reporting and rehab) when required.
- Monitor the team Outlook mailbox and service desk tool and respond to enquiries or forward to the appropriate contact.

**You will have**:

- You have experience in recruitment and payroll and ideally have knowledge of public sector human resource processes. You also have the ability to analyse and interpret legislation, industrial instruments, delegations, policy and procedures.
- You are able to work independently, plan ahead and monitor task progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- You can build and sustain relationships with team members, other colleagues and external stakeholders.
