**THE ROLE**
- 40% handling food and preparation of food
- 40% cleaning duties
- 10% taking orders
- 10% ad hoc Tasks - look after the shop like it’s your own - general polishing of the shop

**IS THIS THE RIGHT ROLE FOR YOU?**
- **Confidence with food & using food utensils& being in a kitchen**

Basic requirement
- must know how to use a knife, handling food with confidence making it look presentable and at the same time. Be able to quickly clean and hand wash dishes quickly.
- **Confident personality**

A yes person - when given a request
- even if you’re unsure, you are willing to give it a go. _Example: "Can you put together a crepe with m&m's, choc ice cream, brownies and oreos” your answer : “sure - show me how you would do it”_
- **At ease in a new work environment**

Look after the shop like it’s your own home.Nothing to do? Take out the broom and sweep
- **Work with Initiative**

Just do things that feels right
- if unsure just ask. Work with mínimal instructions
- we prefer not to micro manage and for you to _'own the place'_
- **A sense of urgency for customers**

Drop everything you’re doing to serve customers. Don’t wait for your team mates to do it. Do everything quickly and send out food quickly. We are not a restaurant
- we provide literally 'fast food'
- **Comfortable working in a team**.

You hear your team mate who’s just taken an order and you hear “large chocolate shake “ You grab the blender out straight away and get started on it. Don't wait to be asked what to do.
- **Creativity is a bonus**. Our crepes are beautiful

**DO YOU HAVE TIME?**
- Be available at least 4x a week.
- 3-4 hour shifts in the evenings commencing at approx 7pm and can typically go to 10:30pm-11pm, some day shifts on weekends.
- Not a summer holiday job. Looking for someone to commit for the long term.
- This role is suited to those with **experience **with both front and back of house hospitality experience. You may struggle to keep up if you lack one of the criteria’s
- Very physically demanding - if you get tired easily or considering this as a second job you may not be able to keep up.

**HOW I WOULD FEEL ABOUT THE ROLE BEING 1 MONTH IN**

It will take approx 2-3 weeks until you're entirely comfortable with the role. At first everything may seem overwhelming, but keep trying with a good attitude, once everything clicks
- you'll love your job. Here's why:
