Buller Sports, the leading rental and retail operator in the Mt Buller/Mansfield region, is preparing for an exhilarating 2025 winter season We proudly own and operate Freeride Snowboard Store & Altitude Ski Shop. Currently, we are seeking experienced individuals who will play a key role in offering expert product advice, delivering outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our specialized retail environment.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in our energetic team environment, contributing to a positive atmosphere and ensuring superior customer experiences. Your responsibilities include:

- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in ski and snowboard equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Stay updated on industry developments and product releases to provide customers with accurate and current information.
- Offer expert advice on product selection, sizing, and customisation based on individual skill levels and preferences.
- Provide technical assistance to customers, addressing inquiries related to equipment maintenance, tuning, and repair
- Assisting guests with the safe and correct setup of equipment
- Educating guests on equipment care and usage
- Supporting the management team in implementing promotions, visuals, and store maintenance
- Identifying and addressing guest needs efficiently and tactfully
- Complying with company, store, and area operational, OHS, environmental policies, and procedures

**What You Bring**:
We're looking for individuals who embody the spirit of the mountains and possess:

- Proven experience in the retail industry
- Resort Experience
- Ski & Snowboard Knowledge
- Patience and understanding
- An unyielding work ethic
- Experience with POS systems
- The ability to handle pressure and multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High regard for personal appearance and presentation
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including day, evening, and weekend shifts
