Casual cleaning position available - 10 hours/week, 07:00-09:00 Mon-Fri

Girragirra simply means ‘happy’ in Wiradjuri language, this is the foundation on which I run my business and life. We are a local cleaning company here on the Central Coast. We are proudly 100% Indigenous owned and operated (that’s me), a registered member of Supply Nation, and use cleaning products and supplies with community and environment in mind wherever possible. We offer cleaning services from the Central Coast to Newcastle in business locations.

I am looking for a reliable, friendly and motivated person to join me as I grow the business. The position is Casual based, paying at award rates per hour, starting with approximately 10 hours per week but with the possibility of more as the work continues. Working hours are 7am-9am Monday to Friday on a busy construction site on the Newcastle Foreshore, works will be ongoing for approximately 8 months. This position is perfect for someone who is looking for something to occupy their spare time while the kids are at school or for someone looking to supplement their normal income.

At present Girragirra does not offer carpet or oven cleaning services, but if this is something you are trained in and would like to bring to the business then I’d love to hear from you.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
Girragirra Cleaning adheres to the latest government advice and guidelines regarding Covid 19, full vaccination is necessary to attend constructions sites, healthcare and aged care facilities.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle, NSW 2300: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
