This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Child Care Group Leader to take on a fulfilling role at Kardinia Early Learning, with opportunities for both personal and professional development. **Duties**:

- Overseeing children's behaviour and assisting with children's social skills and development
- Assisting with the implementation of an age and developmentally appropriate activities and game for all children
- Supervising children in their daily routine at our centre
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
- Preparing and conducting games and activities for children
- Role modelling and promoting the Kardinia Values and Philosophy
- Providing clear and open communication with families and staff
- Overseeing the children’s hygiene

**Qualifications**:
Applicant must have one of the following:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or
- At least three years of experience

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to provide high quality, innovative programs
- A calm and nurturing nature and a commitment to best practice
- Current understanding of the EYLF
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to put forward new creative ideas
- Passion for early childhood education
- Committed in heart and mind
- Prior experience or training with Pikler and RIE advantageous

Pay: $73,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Fixed shift

Work Location: In person
