**We are currently seeking a Part Time Freight Checker / Forklift Operator to join our afternoon shift from 6pm-10pm, Monday to Friday. The role**responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments. Alongside this, the role also is required to assist in general warehouse duties such as the loading and unloading of freight**.**

**Duties required however are not limited to the following**:

- _Check incoming goods to ensure correct items and quantities have been received _
- _Reporting of damaged freight and shortages _
- _Document and record the contents of all shipments incoming and outgoing_
- _Unpack, code and allocate goods to the correct storage areas_
- _Maintain records of stock levels and movements_
- _Ensure all shipments meet relevant customer requirements and legislative regulations _
- _Perform general housekeeping_
- _Sort and check freight against customer delivery paperwork_
- _Counterbalance forklift operating as per required _
- _Loading & unloading of trucks, trailers and containers as per required _

**Essential**
- _Current LF Forklift License _
- _Attention to detail_
- _Intermediate computer skills_
- _Numeracy skills_
- _Communication skills _
- _Demonstrated experience in a similar role of data entry / freight checking_
- _Experience loading and unloading FAK (Freight All Kind) _
- _Warehouse environment experience _
- _Safety Awareness _

**Desirable**
- _Certificate in Warehousing & Logistics is beneficial however not essential _
- _Experience using SAP_
- _Experience in freight scanning _

**This is a diverse role and suits an all-rounder individual who is enjoys variety and has a can do attitude. Please note this position is Part Time at 4 hours per day and would suit an individual who is looking for either reduced hours or has other commitments that would accommodate to part time hours. In return, we offer a very competitive salary of $40.31 per hour and a great working environment in our new warehouse facility.**
