**The opportunity**:
Are you a recent high school graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Engineering sector? We have the role for you Sea World is seeking two Apprentice Mechanical Fitters who will participate in all on & off the job training to develop skills and perform duties associated with department requirements. This will be all whilst ensuring the successful completion of the assigned vocational training plan.

**Your day to day**:

- Assist with pre park opening checks of attraction equipment in accordance with procedures and digital checklists as required
- Assist Tradesperson(s) with various attraction rebuilds and repairs
- Assist Tradesperson(s) with inspection/repair on various plant and equipment
- Pick parts for attraction rebuilds and shutdowns using an electronic inventory management system
- Follow workshop procedures and maintain workplace in a clean and organized manner to ensure a safe working environment
- Successfully complete all internal and external learning modules within the required timeframe.
- Report any issues that may affect Engineering Workshop operations immediately to the Engineering Leading Hand or Supervisor
- Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and to promote a positive working environment

**What you’ll bring**:

- Enthusiastic attitude for the mechanical trade and theme park industry
- Ability to follow directions & communicate effectively
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Current Manual Driver’s license an advantage
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be willing to obtain high risk work license including Forklift & EWP
