A local Tweed Heads mechanical workshop, providing general mechanical servicing, repairs and upgrades, are currently seeking a passionate apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic apprentice.

As an apprentice you will also perform tasks including:

- discussing problems with vehicle drivers to discover faults and carrying out their own diagnosis procedures
- repair and service cooling systems, fuel systems, air conditioning and emission control systems, clutch assemblies, manual and automatic transmissions, braking systems, final drive assemblies and steering and suspension systems

You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Hours of employment are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.

To be considered for this position you must have a car and licence or own reliable transport to Tweed Heads, have a genuine interest working with cars, be reliable, willing to learn and committed to an apprenticeship.
