**First Nations Support Workers/Care Team required**

**We have**
**Multiple shifts available for First Nations ndis participants clients in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and must be able to be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required for the client.**
- Support workers with a First Nations background and/or experience with working with participants from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds is ideal to ensure a deeper understanding of the participants cultural requirements.

**Requirements**:

- To be considered in this role, we require you to hold:- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care-
- NDIS Worker Screening Check-
- National Police Check-
- Working with Children Check-
- First Aid certificate and CPR-
- NDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)-
- Eligibility to work in Australia-
- Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence-
- Current full Driver’s license- Competencies and Experience:- Previous experience in a similar role - Minimum of 6 months relevant experience-
- Previous experience in working with First Nations and/or indigenous organisations, Elders, communities and networks-
- Previous experience supporting People with Disability.-
- Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.-
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.-
- Ability to prioritise effectively and organise own work / caseload.-
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.**Benefits**:
