WHSE & HR Advisor - Brookvale

**About the opportunity**:
Reporting the WHSE Manager, you will be play a key role towards the execution of a newly acquired business with support around the onboarding into CSR. You will also be responsible for updating work instructions, support & facilitate with training, updating training records, be a main point of contact for any HR & IR issues, RTW, Injury management & running investigations on an ongoing basis.
Based in Brookvale, you will also be required to travel frequently to our site in Gloucester.

**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Lead in the investigation of hazards/incidents/accidents and the development of corrective action plans
- Assist with induction of employees as required
- Develop work instructions
- Administer the injury management and rehabilitation program
- Development of return-to-work plans liaising with injured worker, manager/supervisor, medical and treatment providers as necessary
- Provide SH&E advice and support for project work that is required as part of the SH&E management system and legal compliance
- Assist with and monitor the workplace inspection program
- Participate in SH&E audits and assist with audit schedules.
- First response for HR and pay enquiries.

What will make you an excellent fit?
- Tertiary qualifications in Safety
- 1-2 years experience within an operational role - manufacturing, construction or a high-risk industry
- Cert IV/Diploma qualified in WHSE
- Certificate IV Assessment & Training preferred
- Certificate in Return-to-Work Co-ordination essential or previous experience obtained
- Strong communication skills and can successfully network and engage with a range of stakeholders to drive outcomes & build strong working relationships
- Experience in manufacturing, construction or other high-risk industry
- Problem solving and continuous improvement
- Strong decision making skills
- SH&E auditing experience
