Reporting directly to the General Manager of People, Learning & Culture you will provide a range of end-to-end Human Resource services to management and staff. Key areas of focus include, recruitment, HRIS, employee on
- boarding and departures, learning and development, industrial relations / EBA administration support, performance management and policy compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the learning and development needs of the organisation including compliance training, industry-based training, and any additional training needs within the business
- Work with the GM, People, Learning & Culture on the development of the annual training calendar to ensure all compliance training has been planned
- Manage all learning and development requests, schedule training sessions with external facilitators, liaise with employees to attend, coordinate training facilities, ensure training attendance is met, and process training invoices
- Manage recruitment activities including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, processing compliance documents/checks (NDIS Worker Screening checks, NDIS Orientation, Worker Registration, qualifications, right to work (VEVO), and interview and reference checks when required
- Preparation of employment contracts and employment related documents
- Update employee records (HRIS & Payroll) related to learning and development, qualifications, change of employment terms and conditions, police checks etc
- Assist with the review and update of HR policy and procedures and forms
- Provide advice and support to managers on areas related to industrial relations, performance management and policy compliance
- Liaise with Payroll Officer to ensure all HR related work is completed in line with required payroll periods
- Assist with the staff orientation program including scheduling, coordinating staff attendance, and arranging participant’s involvement in each orientation session
- Coordinate employee separation process with managers and payroll including the completion of exit interviews, exit checklists and removal of IT access
- Ensure adherence to Employment law standards and compliance requirements
- Assist with any PLC related projects

**Skills & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources ideally sought
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar human resources position
- Experience in developing and maintaining HR systems, policies, and procedures
- Understanding of Modern Awards and Fair Work Act
- A sense of urgency and ability in managing to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects
- Performance management and coaching skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Motivated by delivering a service in an efficient and supportive manner
- High attention to detail
- Must be happy to complete the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Orientation module prior to employment
- Participate in Staff Induction Program and complete further mandatory training as required depending on their position
