**About your new role**:
Working closely and collaboratively with the Manager Residential Care, Manager Aged Care Funding, and clinical staff, the Aged Care Funding Officer provides support to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information to support AN-ACC Assessments and ensures supporting documentation is appropriate so that all legitimate revenue entitlements are claimed.
This role also ensures AN-ACC Assessments are completed, correct and appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
Working closely with the care team, the position also builds the capacity and knowledge of staff involved in care assessment

**Roster**:

- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
- 8:30 AM - 16:00 PM

**Duties**:

- Provides a high level of knowledge in relation to AN-ACC assessments and claims.
- Actively assists in and helps maintain the onsite admission process and any relevant systems.
- Provides advice and input into AN-ACC assessments and reviews.
- Assists the clinical team to ensure AN-ACC reviews are undertaken in accordance with due dates.
- Collects and compiles documentation required for AN-ACC submissions.
- Assists in maintaining AN-ACC files and records at the site level including tracking of assessments and documents to be completed.
- Liaises closely with the clinical and care teams on changes to resident status and any exceptional circumstances that may impact on the AN-ACC and care planning assessments.

- Commitment to providing a customer centric approach.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Personal Carer or Enrolled Nurse (at least 3 years).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff.
- An ability to communicate well with staff across an organisation.
- An effective team member who actively contributes as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Good knowledge of client information management systems, such as iCare and skills extracting information relevant to AN-ACC.
- Excellent documentation skills (within scope of practice).
- Knowledge and experience working in compliance with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Understanding of financial management principles.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
