About the role

Calvary Adelaide Hospital Day Surgery Unit is looking for a casual Theatre Orderly. Our Day Surgery provides complex care through many specialties including surgical procedures (Urology, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Ophthalmology, ENT and Oral surgery), anaesthetic and recovery.

**Your main duties will include**:
Fun, interesting, dynamic and supportive team environment

**Work across theatres on level 3 and level 4**: elective and emergency surgery
Transportation services; patients, equipment, blood, specimens, records, supplies
Provide patient assistance to clinical and theatre staff
About you

Has experience working in operating theatres
Dedicated and motivated to provide excellent customer service and patient safety
Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Thrive in a fast paced environment
Have a commitment to delivery of excellence in patient experience
Certificate III - Operating Theatre Support, or working towards is highly desirable
